If I could rate this place with no stars, I would. Roselands shopping centre is awfully run down with more than half the centre being vacant. They don’t have a variety of retail outlets, nor do they cater for all age groups. Roselands is quite depressing to walk through, it’s almost like stepping back an era. The place is in need of a massive refurbishment, and there needs to be more than one set of lifts. The maintenance is also poor- escalators and lifts could take many months to be repaired once they’re out of order. The car park is an absolute nightmare and not user friendly. This place needs a huge facelift. Maybe centre management need to pull their fingers out of the bums
5pm on a Friday. This is not the time to be here! Shops closed or closing, and yet the car park is almost full - shocking carpark.
Any other time the car park is even worse - allow stacks of extra time to see if you're lucky enough to find a park (though at least they're free).
To their credit, there is a reasonable range of stores. But there's plenty of other places I'd prefer to shop, especially if it's past 4.45!
One of my favourite shopping centres, conveniently located and accessible off King Georges Road or from Canterbury Road; Centro Roselands has is all - ample FREE car parking (mostly covered), ample sized food court (though the selection could be improved), ample variety of specialty retailers, ample Majors (Coles, Myer, Dick Smith, Target, Lincraft, etc) and more. Easy for commuters too with the bus terminal right outside the complex.
The centre layout is easy to navigate and a pleasure to walk around. The main atrium is light and airy with lots of natural light coming in from glass ceiling/roof, options for elevators or escalators are easily accessible.
The clincher in the deal for me are the free all day carparking (unlike Westfields), good clean food court, airy feel from the natural light and great variety of stores.
