Stopped in for lunch on my way through the shopping centre, expecting that the pleasant (if old fashioned) decor would equate to a nice meal. I was very wrong. My partner and I ordered between us grilled cheese and chips, and a ham/lettuce/cheese sandwich. When our food was brought out - by a staff who looked positively bored to be there - and they had sent out a toasted tomato/ham/cheese sandwich! My partner went to the counter to ask for the meal to be redone, and the staff told my partner that he had in fact ordered the toasted sandwich (which he would not have done as I am allergic to tomato). The best cafe for a big Sunday breakfast. Prices are a little expensive, but the meals are big and taste great. Usually they have some kind of special on too - which always makes a good choice. Staff are professional.

Cest la vie is another safe option. They have a fairly captive market at Indooroopilly Shoppingtown as there are not too many other options. They have recently renovated which was much needed. It is a good place to take a break from shopping. The menu is fairly standard and similar to the Coffee Club I guess.
