Chain Reaction Bicycles

I recently visited this shop to purchase my next bike.
The Sales Person was very helpfull and answered all questions professionally.
Then the owner of the business Craig entered the conversation.
Any positive decision I had to purchase a product was out the door.
Craig was rude,ignorant and lacked any expertise in the sales area.
What a disgraceful experience.

Have only bought online from them, parts always in stock and arrive quickly.

I couldn't recommend Chain Reaction at all. I'd rather travel a few suburbs away to a less convenient bike shop than waste time here. I've had numerous problems buying parts and bikes here. I took my bike in with a problem, they quoted $500 to fix it, I took it to another bike shop, who corrected the diagnosis and had it fixed for $60. I could go on for hours......

I have had a very mixed experience here. I bought a brilliant bike here and I love it but when I bought it I also spend a lot of money on accessories (mirror, security chain, basket, helmet, lights etc.) They fitted it all and I paid and left without checking what they had put on. The 'mirror' ended up being a $30 sticker and the distortion was so great it was useless. The helmet which was supposed to fit all heads and 'just needing adjusting' $100, didn't fit me at all and could not be returned and the back light $30 completely fell apart. The chain $40 jams and I ended up buying a $6 one from Kmart and it works much better. The mechanic in the store and most of the staff are lovely but the management kicked us out of the store when we complained about the accessories. They got increasingly irate when we took too long to leave as my father recently had a stroke and has a severe limp. Their knowledge of bikes is second to none. Their range is huge and the service is friendly, but not too pushy. Adam is a great bloke to chat with and get advice.

I bought a giant reign and when anything went wrong with it, they fixed it nice and quick.
