It was my first time in Maroubra and after a surf lesson we came here for brekkie. We managed to get a table outside. There was shelter from the sun which was appricated. I ordered the corner fritters and I had to send it back they were soft and dough like. They werent too happy that i had complained and said thats the way they come. I could still taste the raw flour. I was given the option to cook it more or to have as is but pretty much said the texure would remain the same. I asked for them to be cooked more. They were still dough like but at lease the flour had been cooked through. My beacon musty have also been put back in the pan and was very cripsy ( which I like and mentioned when I paid). My juice was nice but not worth $6.
Over all not the most pleasent experience I won't be returning.
really good cafe, and the brioche egg + bacon roll is a champion breakfast! Perfectly located among the maroubra cafe strip*, with an interactive collection of wall art... all done in Chalk!
* Kid/Pet friendly with outdoor seating on the strip sheltered from the road.
