Great view. Fans only in some spots so can get hot in summer. Ordered the crumbed chicken with pumpkin purée, battered fish and burger all with chips. Table consensus was that the food was okay given the price. Service was friendly, although one waitstaff picked up one of the party's personal items to look at without consent and left grease marks all over it.
Almost too casual staff, almost too beautiful timber and wicker decor interior. Almost perfect menu that is not descriptive enough for the flavours you may taste when your plate arrives. Easy to drink and very strong coffee. Beautiful location with a great people watching view of Southbank and the big wheel.
French doors open the building but somehow there is a distinct difference between table cloth tables at one end of the bar (very restaurant feel) and all other interior and exterior cafe style seating. Really suitable for every tourist, really well located for a great meeting point. Reallllly busy during any Southbank event (crazy during the night noodle market event only a week or so ago). Really well timed service. I don't think this place had its own restrooms or would suit children, however for all the right reasons, I'll be back...
Popular "kitchen & bar" in Southbank, Brisbane. Close to the theatre's & galleries, and right in front of the Wheel of Brisbane.
A great spot to have a meal or just a few drinks with friends. I love the decor & furnishings in there, it's done beautifully. Friendly waiters, good service.
