The worst shopping experience I've ever ever ever had.
I really want to pick a chanel classic flap for my best friend. I am ready to spend $8000+ that day. However, the sales associates are chatting in the clothing section really loud. I thought Chanel should be elegant...I was wait, wait, wait.The staff work in the custom jewellery section saw me, but they just turned their head around and keep chatting, oh, seems so happy... I really don't want to stretch my imagination. I was standing there almost 10 mins, and wait for those 'high class' sales person to help me. No one came and the security staff is so nice and walked in the 'chatting room' ask the staff to help me. I was asking for the red classic flap and they said they don't have that in stock (very coldly), and turned around to the chatting room. WTF? If you really cannot stop chatting, why bother come to work? What you can do is just bullying customers? I ended up left the boutique.
The first and final time I walked into Chanel was with my sister who wanted to buy something. i was waiting for her patiently when one of the walls opened, knocked me aside and a sales assistant walked out. It's common courtesy to apologize, but the staff looked at me as if they were the victim. You can definitely tell if a door has bumped into something, but all the staff did even bat an eyelid. One of the guards saw the whole thing, but not even a peep. All I can say is rude and infuriating. I wasn't even dressed like a pleb but the staff there made me feel like one. My sister had the intention to buy but after what happened she decided against the idea. I know it's not a big deal, but a simple, "i'm sorry" wouldn't have hurt..
Very poor service received. My j12 watch needed a new battery. They said it would take six weeks... After six weeks I called to enquire about my watch... And was told it was going to take a bit longer as something else was wrong with the link. They promised they would call me back the following Friday for an update but failed... Three weeks later they still hadn't called back so by this time I'm really angry, only to be told that someone called me two days ago? On my mobile. That's funny, no missed calls or even a message! Can't believe the poor service received, lack of communication (nobody answers the phones)!!! What a joke especially when I've spent loads of money buying their products!
