Chantel Learning Child Care Centre

my little sister went to chantel child care and when I used to go to pick her up she Wouldn't come home she wants to stay with her teacher Hibba and evey moring she come and wake me up early to go to the Center she so cute

This child care centre is absolutely wonderful and my child loves attending and loves the child care workers! I have nothing but the upmost praise for this childcare centre! The centre is wonderful with lots of different daily activities planned and it is ALWAYS clean! The Baby Turtles Room (for ages 0-2yrs) has beautiful natural light which I believe is so important for my child. When I first started taking my son at 7 months of age, he was suffering from separation anxiety and Gamil and the staff members all helped myself and my son work through this slowly building up his hours each visit. Now when I go to pick him up - he doesn't want to leave!! As I was allowed to slowly introduce my child to the centre, I spent quite some time in the room and was able to observe all the staff and how they interacted with the children. Staff seem ok, management quite unprofessional as they volunteer information and talks unfavourably about other staff and parents, which I find is extremely unprofessional. I have also noticed first-hand a certain staff member speaking quite aggressively with the children. I have since removed my child as there is no consistency and does not seem to be a welcoming child care centre.

"I am unhappy with this childcare, there have been numerous parents leaving in recent months because of the poor management, and lack of care and attention given to children which includes aggressive nature. The turnover at the centre is incredulous as every few weeks an employee is leaving which clearly impacts the child. It is very understaffed where children were being shifted from room to room. My child in recent months has been 'shooshing' me and telling me to sit in the corner which i know was from the centre as i do not advocate this behaviour at home. The management is very hard to speak to and quite defensive when you ask about fees as i have had the phone hung up on me when i asked minor questions which i was entitled to ask. Please do yourself a favour and personally assess the centre and speak to parents who take their children there if you can to hear the truth about this centre and how poorly managed it is.
