Chapelli's Cafe Bar Restaurant

The female waitress was rude and not smiling at all. Our table was dirty and I asked her to clean it before serving but she just picked up the leftover lettuce and left the rest of the dirt. We ordered a starter but it came together with the main meals. The lasagne was microwave heated. My daughter ordered muesli with fruit and we were expecting fresh fruits on top of it but there were some dry fruit mixture inside the muesli. The prices are high for this poor service and taste. I never recommend this place.

Service was terrible despite only ordering bacon & egggs, dips, cake and pancakes. And less than 1/4 of tables inside were busy. Manager was incredibly rude. I would avoid this place and go next door in future.

I was walking past this restaurant yesterday to overhear two of their waitstaff loudly mocking a person who was selling the Big Issue. This person cannot talk properly, but these two individuals were mocking him and laughing. This was done where some customers were nearby as well.

This is unacceptable on any level - and I believe that their management would find it completely unacceptable for staff members to conduct themselves in such a manner. I wouldnt recommend spending your money at such an establishment.

For $50 you can share three entrees and all entrees here are pretty delicious. Not open 24 hours 7 days, but on weekends they stay open all night. Service is hectic but good. You will have various wait staff attend to your table but all are professional and fast. This place is one of the staple shop fronts of Chapel St. It's a great meeting place for friends and any true Melbournite will know where to find it.

Good location for dinner or a coffee catchup with friends. In the heart of Chapel Street. Great atmosphere and great service 24hrs. I love coming here for the cakes and coffee, and I can sit here for hours chit-chatting with friends, especially on a summer night outside. Chapelli's just has a great vibe and doesn't matter what time you are there you won't be falling asleep. Reasonable price for drinks and meals on the menu. When i get peckish, after sitting there for some time, I'll order wedges or chips and another drink and it never takes long to arrive.
