The best free range chicken in Werribee, much better than greasy, stringy KFC. It's very tender, tasty, juicy and well cooked, and a good size chicken. I have been buying their chicken for years and have never been disappointed with the quality. The service is excellent and the staff are very polite with quick service. I actually buy their chickens for family that don't have a good charcoal chicken shop near them and they love their chicken too. You won't go back to supermarket chickens after tasting theirs.
Bad chicken + bad service. I bought a whole chicken for dinner tonight, only to open up the bag and find a burnt, horribly dry, inedible chicken. I cut the chicken into pieces to see if i could salvage anything - no luck
Seeing I paid top dollar for what is meant to be a juicy free range Lilydale chicken, I decided to take it back to the shop to get a replacement. The shop attendant opened the bag an accused me of only returning half a chicken, and I was trying to pull a swifty and get a full price refund? I actually wanted a new chicken cause I had 3 kids at home waiting for dinner. This argument continued until I offered to go home and pick the bones and carcass out of my bin and return with them? He then just hands me a refund a tells me to go. So I did - next door to KFC. I will never go back, not even for a bucket of chips!!!!!
