I've been a long time fan of the chargrill charlie's in rose bay, so thought I'd see if the one in Woollahra was as good - it's not.
The service is lazy and sloppy (she held my credit card behind the counter for me to reach over and collect, and did the same with the bag of food). They were sloppy with putting pasta into a container as well and were happy to serve all the old, salty chips instead of mixing in or replacing them with fresh ones.
Next time, back to Rose Bay!
Chargrill Charlie’s is both a dine in and takeaway venue. You might at first look think this is your typical charcoal chicken shop, but it is much more than that with amazing salads, veggies, burgers and more. With 10 venues across Sydney and open 7 day a week, you can easily get your chicken fix!
From the charcoal grill, their chicken do not have hormone injections and they are beautifully chargrilled, and seasoned with herbs and spices or marinated with Portuguese flavours. Order chicken with cups and salad and you’ve got a perfect meal. You can get chips or their famous hand cut potato wedges - we couldn’t choose, so had both!

Good food, good environment , was loving the place until.....we asked for a take away container and we receive the worst customer service by far in years. The staff who charged us 2 dollars a box was extremely rude and when we were struggling to find 4 dollars on my bag staff pulled the b**** face, like staff was there making us a favor. Not coming back ever there. Hope the one in bondi have better customer service.
