As I was wandering around Crows Nest I was getting a little peckish so I decided to stop in at the first cafe I encountered, which happened to be this one. Okay, I didn't have anything fancy, just a ham and cheese toastie (simply because there didn't seem anything on the menu that really appealed to me) however what I do have to say is that they make a pretty decent orange juice (freshly squeezed orange juice is always a bit of a goer as far as I'm concerned). The place was quite nice, particularly since it is located in a rather quiet part of North Sydney, though it may have something to do with it being the middle of the day, and this is basically a suburb. However, it didn't thrill me hugely and if I happened to be down here again I'd probably check out some place else.
Nicely decked out cafe in a corner at the bottom of Willoughby Rd in Crows Nest. The Windows are casement style, and mostly open and you can gaze out and watch the world go by. Daughter and I had a frappe which
was nice, then a pizza, also very good. It's spacious and you don't feel cramped not hurried. Great any time of the day.
I used to frequent this cafe a few years back until it changed hands. Unfortunately the standard of coffee and service has dropped substantially, the coffee is often way too hot and the food is "gourmet" but unfortunately is the kind of gourmet food that has too much focus on looking fancy and healthy that it has little to no flavour.
Over priced and lacking quality I'm afraid.
