Chase Oyster Bar and Dining

this place is OK. nothing special and really lacking in the oyster department. I would have to say that they chose their name poorly as they have never actually specialised in oysters or alcohol for that matter - very misleading. I haven't been here for atleast a year or so now and have no desire to return anytime soon.

There is some confusion surrounding the name of this place.... the sign at the front of the restaurant says 'CHASE BAR & DINING', yet the Chatswood Chase center map says 'Chase Bar & Grill' and the Chatswood Chase stores list says "Chase Oyster Bar". Very confusing. After satisfying myself that there is no other Oyster bad in Chatswood Chase and confirming that this place does indeed have oysters on the menu I conclude that they are all the same thing. Clearly no one is managing the brand!

Disappointing place, I was served with pork knucke without the crackles. When I order pork knuckle, I tried to compare the crispy crackle with others. This Oyster Bar is simply not in the race!

The management tried to convince me that the crackle is bad for your heart.

Worst Restaurant. AWFUL ....Do not Go! Slow service despite restaurant being 1/3 full. Advertised cut of steak was on specials board was scotch fillet. But I was provided with an inferior cut- NOT SCOTCH. When questioned about this, they were unapologetic, arrogant and belligerent. Continued to justify themselves though they were clearly wrong with false menu lablelling. Quality of food very bland and poor overall and was delivered appallingly slowly. It explains why restaurant was only 1/3 full at peak lunch hour on a saturday. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!

Bad experience! Service was slow although restaurant was half empty. Before ordering, we specifically asked whether the pasta of the day was spicy as i was going to share with my 3year old son. The staff said no, it is tomato based and we ordered that and asked if it will be long as my son is already hungry. They said no. We asked where was our pasta after 20 minutes and without checking, they said it is coming. Told them to cancel order if it not made, but no one came back to us to tell us whats going on in the kitchen! Order came after 30 minutes and when i fed my boy some of the pasta, he cried out as if he was in pain.... Why?? Because the pasta was spicy!! When we complained to the staff, the staff looked apologetic but the management never had the courtesy to come over to apologize or to ask how my little boy was doing.. Never ever go back!!
