The "BIRDMAN" having a lovely time in Vancouver enjoying the lovely summer sunshine and 25C, the Birdman returns to Alcatraz in a few days time before returning to NSW to say hello to all my millions of friends again!!!!! I wonder what the Birdman of Yosemite who was the founder of Yosemite National Park in the 1800's would have done with the MYNAS, he was a brilliant Vet and loved birds and animals in the park back to life, he was dying of terminal cancer at age 41, moved to the park to spend the last year of his life but died at age 96, a truly remarkable man and an absolute genius. Look forward to some toasted cheese and tomato and a cup of tea in 14 days time Aloha Ian the Birdman
This has to be the longest take-away lunch we've had in a long time. After a stale bun, processed chicken, shreds of lettuce and Heinz salad cream "chicken burger", I was seriously missing KFC. Not a slice of tomato on the burger but the hair was not missing from the chips.
The front desk was staffed by a person whose manners or lack of them had nothing to envy to a haughty Parisian waiter and who was clearly overwhelmed by the sunday crowd to the point of not remembering who was next, who paid, who was waiting to order, etc...
I give the only star to the junior staff who was the only person to address me as a customer and not an intruder.
