Cheeky Chocolate Room

Your perfect little dessert bar. Located in North Strathfield, this place is a great cafe/bar to drop into for a coffee or wine and a delicious sweet dessert. We stopped in here for an afternoon snack while around the area. We managed to tackle the macaroons, man on the moon dessert and the nutella pizza. The man on the moon was a cup of salted caramel and dark chocolate topped with caramel popcorn - a very different dessert but worth a try for those that love a sweet and salty snack. The standout here was the Nutella pizza - a thin base, plenty of Nutella, fruit, cream and a topping of brownies. What more could you want. Grab one to share, sit back and enjoy the Parisian style decor. If you do not feel like something sweet head in the afternoon and try some of their wine selection and cheese boards

I always love the gothic interior with the super soft sofas and chandeliers. The best time to visit for my friends and I is at night near closing time to wind down with some desserts and hot drinks. We ordered the sundae which came with vanilla and banana gelato and peanut crunch. It was really tasty but quite overpriced for it's really small portion. There are only 3 scoops of ice cream on some whipped cream. If you don't mind spending a bit, I think the beautifully decorated cakes are worth it! 'Newbie' is always my favourite with the different chocolate mousses and the macaron hidden in the centre!

Honestly I thought I was on candid camera. The worst experience I've had at any eatery -cafe/restaurant/bar - ever. It was so bad it was funny. Hence our candid camera thought.
Firstly, I had booked for a group of 12 and we had to await 2hours for them to even open. There was also plenty of other public whom arrived though just left out of frustration as they were over 5 hours late in opening. When someone from staff arrived they were so annoyed and flustered they barged thru us to open the lock and proceeded to tell us about the joys of people going sick with hang overs and that he was stuck now opening when he was suppose to be out with his boyfriend. Amazing coffee and hot chocolates on a cold rainy night is the best time to go to cheeky chocolate!

I love the chocolate deserts and drinks! Their meringue pies and deserts are so tasty! This is zumbos cafe so expect zumbarons and some of his signitaures.

The staff are nice and prompt.

They have a nice selection of cakes and slices available located on the main strip at north Strathfield. The atmosphere is very romantic and they do coffee. I highly recommend a macaron and nice table outside and watch the day go by.
