Chef Rasa Sayang

One of the best Malaysian restaurants we've come across in Sydney. Authentic flavours and great dishes. We sat downstairs and it was a bit cramped. They take cash only as of now. If you like Malaysian food, we recommend trying Chef Rasa Sayang to get as close to the real thing as possible.

I love eating here for authentic Malaysian food. They wat tan hor is one of the best in sydney, I love thee way they have free tea and accompaniments such as chilli. Order at the counter and an assistant will show you a table.
There are also seats upstairs so don't be put off if it looks full when you walk in.

The name means "happy feeling "
In Malay and Indonesian and I did feel happy after eating here as the food and prices were good. My pursuit of the perfect rendang continues and the one i had here was not bad !

One of my favourite Malaysian food places. Casual, great for families, reasonable prices and delicious food.
My favourite is the wat tan Hor which is rice noodles and a rich thick gravy. It has a slightly charred taste and comped with meat and seafood.
We also tried their limited edition chicken and ginger soup which was slightly herbal in flavour and tasted slightly sweet.

You pay at the counter and then find a table either downstairs in the main area or walk up the stairs to find more seating especially for larger groups.
