Chemist Warehouse

I agree with previous reviewers. This chemist warehouse has absolutely horrible customer service... really rude and seemingly lazy staff (seem to walk extra slowly). On top of that, it's a smaller chemist warehouse so it has very limited stock. I would not recommend going here. Rather go to the pharmacy next door (Caremore).

Very poor service,

after putting in a prescription they doubled my medication dosage by mistake and refused to correct it replace it or allow me to return the medication and put the onus back on me to deal with the problem
This was the last script I had for the essential medication that I needed and I could have been taking twice the dosage necessary
No apology forthcoming just subsequently victim blaming and scapegoating

Close to the dandenong road, this chemistwarehouse is not huge but has all the essentiala you would want to buy. The timmings are perfect as it remains open till 9pm even on saturdays. So bonus point for that.

The staff is courteous and helpful

The worst service experienced in years. Asked their staff for advice on purchasing a specific kind of pill-box. Followed advice and got home to test the item which proved to be exactly what I did not want for the purpose as discussed with CW staff. Returned, waited in (production)line for ages, and the staff refused to consider a refund on the basis that I opened the package making it impossible for them to sell it again. I asked how I was reasonably expected to check the item let alone even see it without opening it and they got a supervisor, who also had no response aside from repeating a policy speech about refund, which seems questionable regarding consumer law. I was then kicked out of the store because they had "other customers in line". So the message I took from the experience was "we just want your money, we don't are about our customers or the law. Now get lost".

I bought 2 packets of a skin product for my son at this pharmacy. When he opened one it was empty. I went in to the shop to report this and the pharmacist told me to return the empty packet and I would be given a full one. I returned 2 days later and spoke to the other pharmacist. Gave me a replacement but not after insinuations I was making the whole thing up.They claimed it would have been noticed at the checkout and made several references to the weight differential between an empty and full packet. I have learnt my lesson and will no longer shop at this supermarket chemist.
