I think "the friendly club" is a bit of a stretch. Went there with my partner. I called them for a simple enquiry about signing in and got a very rude staff who sounded like staff was forced to answer the phone and didn't want to. Really put me off going but decided to go anyway for a very quiet drinks cause it was local. Get there and are greeted at the bar by another rude staff with an attitude! What the hell, my partner and I are nice people and will not be going back there. Very rude people. Have been there in the past and it's always quiet especially Saturday night. The attitude of the staff are most likely why people don't go there. Take the "friendly" off cause yous don't deserve in! r.

Interesting reviews from other peoples experiences, thought id contribute my personal experience. We had a function here for 70 people over the Christmas period in the new function room including bare foot bowls. Food was excellent and affordable as was the room hire fee. Comparable venues such as the RSL and community hall were a good couple of hundred dollars more expensive and that is without the food and entertainment costs. Staff and management were more than welcoming, arranging for people to show us how to bowl and such. No real negatives of the evening, overall an positive experience, have already recommended to friends for a cheap function venue.

Don't hire hall from them - weekly events will get bumped for occasional events. Difficult to deal. Food is actually good now, have a new chef, but we're leaving there for good.
