We drove past this cafè, it looked cool, we were after a quick bite to eat and had not been here before. Upon entering the cafè and looking at the menu it seemed like your typical organic vegetarian cafè and it was. The cafe looked nice and the staff were friendly. My wife ordered scrambled eggs which came with mushrooms, tomatoes and sour dough. This was pretty much your standard scrambled eggs. I ordered the Russian lentil soup with toasted turkish bread to warm me up as it was a cold wet day and it did warm me up. However; I think the chef was trying to channel nearby Maroubra beach with this dish, as it was a little salty. This place was not my cup of tea, as it was lacking meat and was a little pricey for what you get. Which is generally the case for a cafè serving organic produce. If you are someone who is a bit of a hippie or into organic vegetarian cuisine your opinion may differ, so check it out .
Limited seating in this quaint little spot, but tucked up from the hustle of Maroubra Junction so only the locals will know it. Lovely decal interior with literature of self reflection to pose a thought. Vego/Vegan menu- suitable for even the most meatiest of eaters...DIY juices, I'dd highly recommend the lentil pie. Delicious!
