Chiang Mai House

It's the third time I have eaten there, each time hoping it gets better. Unfortunately the food overall is not good. The curry isn't bad but certainly not great! The soft shell crab was terrible it was over cooked so there was nothing left inside and it was actually burnt!!

We celebrated our daughter Lauren's 21'st Birthday here last Saturday night.
The quality authentic Thai cuisine, generous portions and value for money was nothing short of outstanding. Service was polite and prompt especially considering there were over 20 people in our group, whilst many other regular diners and takeaways in and out same time.
We have eaten before at other Thai restaurants in the shire only to find the BEST right here in central Heathcote. The bottleshop next door is very convenient.
The management were more than obliging with serving Lauren's birthday cake they didnt even charge us anything for serving it out for us, even adding a few extra touches to the presentation.
Thanks again guys, rest assured we will be back for more and recommend friends faster than you can say... Chiang Mai House !!!

FINALLY - real Thai food in the shire!
There are too many Thai restaurants serving Thai food that has been changed to suit Australian tastes - usually boring and bland. Thankfully this is not one of them. A cute little cafe/restaurant that serves fresh, tasty REAL Thai food. I have been there twice this week and each dish has been great. A good menu that has lots to choose from.One of the best Massaman Beef dishes I have had, great fishcakes and awesome curries. BYO and the bottle shop is two doors away. Keep up the great work and keep the food authentic!
