Chickenfoot Designs is all about the simplicity of the handmade object. Whimsical, unique designs, our images range from a tin-tin illustrational style to academic measured drawings in carefully selected colours. We aim, with our products, to provide a moment of pure delight - the perfect gift or keepsake. Current products include gift cards and tea towels, all produced locally in Melbourne.
Helena Harry, the creator of Chickenfoot, studied fine art at the VCA in Melbourne many moons ago before travelling to Europe where she lived for 20 years. She qualified as an architect at the Architectural Association in London and went on to work on major building projects in London, Cambridge, France and Melbourne. She returned to Melbourne in 2005 to discover a much transformed city. In 2008, Chickenfoot was born from a desire to return to the simplicity of the handmade small scale object.

There's a secret posse of incredibly talented people behind Chickenfoot ? with the London-Melbourne connection in common, we enjoy discussing everything from food and wine to music, and back again, just in time to get some work done...

It's important to us that all our products are made locally. Tea towels are hand silk-screened in Melbourne on 100% European linen using water based non toxic inks. Our cards are also printed in Melbourne on 100% recycled paper and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper. Envelopes are made from 100% recycled post consumer waste.

Although we are a young company, such is the popularity of our designs that we are now stocked in exclusive outlets all over Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
