Owner Jean-Lou is warm and welcoming and made me feel right at home, much more experienced and talented than anywhere else I've been in Brisbane.
Personal hair styling advice, very upfront, and always goes the extra mile, as well as having the cutest little fluffy dog in the salon for cuddles!

I felt fairly confident the first time I saw Jean-lou because he was highly recommended by a very picky person that I work with! And he certainly didn't disappoint and hasn't since. He is a fantastic blonde colorist. I love his honesty as he suggests I only come in every 10-12 weeks, whereas other hairdressers made me visit them more frequently (as they were obviously only after my money). I think I've been going to Jean-lou for almost two years now. He is great fun, charming and gives the best head massages!

I am extremely fussy about my highlights, no yellow or whites. Jean-Lou is the best blonde colourist I have ever had, the colour was perfect. He is also a proper hairdresser - he will give you advice on a hairstyle that actually suits your face and lifestyle. He does not leave you sitting with your highlights over-baking while he deals with multiple other clients. I thoroughly recommend him. He also has a great sense of humour.

I have just recently emigrated from the UK to Brisbane so was apprehensive about finding a good hairdresser. Anyway I think I struck gold because Jean-Lou cut and colored my long dark hair yesterday (which upon arrival on his shop was flat and mousey due to being highlighted back in the UK). He gave me his honest, expert opinion with colour/cut suggestions and also listened carefully to my likes/dislikes. A couple of hours later I left his shop absolutely delighted not only with my wonderful new hair style, but also the most enjoyable two hours I have ever spent in a salon I look forward to going back there very soon! In fact I am well known for having a bit of a phobia about going to hairdressers, mainly because they have a tendency not to listen, however I can safely say that this is definitely not the case with jean-lou and you will absolutely have a positive experience going to his salon,

I wanted to thank Jean-Lou firstly for doing an amazing job with my hair. Going from red to caramel blonde was a challenge, but nevertheless it was 100% as i imagined it to be. It was just like in a photo. Secondly, thank you for being patient and understanding. Your service and beautiful personality has given me chance to believe that there are generous and knowledgeable hairdressers out there, yet not over-priced.

If you want best customer service, one-on-one consultations than look nowhere else but Jean-Lou's salon. The best!!!
