Providing Child & Parent ServicesThe Children's Protection Society (CPS) opened its doors in 1896, a turbulent time in Australia's history which was reflected in high levels of addiction, homelessness and social alienation; a situation not dissimilar to that in which we find ourselves today.
CPS is an independent child welfare organisation with a mission to break the cycle of abuse and neglect in families, and improve the life chances and choices for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. CPS provides child and family services and have a specialist therapeutic counselling program for children who have been sexually abused, children with sexualised behaviours and young people with sexually abusive behaviours
The Vision of CPS sees children thriving in safe families and communities. The Mission, to break the cycle of abuse and neglect in families and to improve the life chances and choices for children who have experienced trauma.
