Chilliz Karawara

Chilliz is my go to lunch place, I love their Krispy Chicken, and at the price of $6 is a very appealing price, even though it use to be $5.00. Although i do enjoy the occasional chilliz, i do find bits of bone and fat every now and again which is dissapointing, but for a student like myself, on a budget, you get what you pay for.

Tried Chilliz during lunch and the caf is very well organised to get the lunch time traffic thru. There are ten meals to choose from which clearly labelled and are pre packaged with rice, unless you select a noodle dish. The dishes start from $6.00 per lunch meal onwards. The meals lack lustre, and were a little disappointing. I had the beef curry which was very sinewy and the fat was not trimmed off the beef and was quite tasteless, my friend had the chicken noodle dish and said it was lacking flavour. I can understand why it attracts to nearby University crowd as the meals are fast and cheap.

I used to love the food from this place. I've been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years. I love their BBQ pork and rice dish. In recent time their food has diminished to a low standard. They have been closing too early and if you arrive after 430pm your choice is very limited. After this time they only serve pre packed leftovers.

The worst customer service I have ever have to go through. Not worth the wait. Yes it is cheap but is it worth getting yourself angry because of the rude wait staff, I waited first and they just served other people who is behind me twice and when I complained they just said "I know" without a sorry. Just not worth it people only giving half a star only because of the price! The food is disgusting
