Chinese Dumpling & Noodles House

Took 1 hour to get a xiao lung bao and sliced noodle with chicken. Chase up when we wait 30 minutes but never came out. This is 2.00 pm on sunday with 3 couple on the restaurant. Not busy at all

We ordered stir-fried noodle n steamed buns. Two simple dishes. After 40mins waiting, there is nothing coming. We checked with waitress by 30min, they said it's almost done. By 40mins, same reply. They are not even trying!! I wouldnt recommed anyone to eat here unless you prepare one hour waiting for your food.

I quite liked the dumplings here.
We got a huge plate of dumplings for $10. - two of us ate it, and i was stuffed afterwards.
The dumplings were very authentic - i felt like i was back in China when eating them.

I've heard a bit of a hype about this cheap and amazing dumpling place near UNSW and decided to check it out. It most definitely does not live up to my expectations. The ambience is absolutely terrible. This place appears very run down and has some questionable sanitation. Additonally, the prices aren't that cheap, but you can definitely get a filling full plate of dumplings for approximately $10. The food itself is decent and appears homemade. I definitely would not go out of my way to visit this restaurant.

They have upped their prices - used to be cheaper. Still a great place to go (BYO!!!) especially for students. Their dumplings are the best. Probably would not recommend it to any other group of people, though, unless you have a real dumpling craving.
