Chinese Laundry

When they have big parties or international Djs I woulnd't bother going there. Dancefloors are always over crowded, there is no space whatsover where you can move, you can barely move your legs and walking to the bar is just impossible. The most pity part is that the sound system they have is not designed for the room they are placed into. All you hear is an over pumped sub woofer (vrrr vrrr vrrr) definitely not designed for Electronic music, in particular Techno / Tech house.
Such a waste when you pay over $40 to see talented artists and all you do is standing listening to a kick covering the rest of frequencies.
Chinese Laundry...please consider quality over quantity!

I agree with the love hate relationship below. But it is true that it turns into mostly love because you have such good nights here. The venue does get packed, because they bring some of the best DJs in.

Party People all over Sydney have a love/hate relationship with Chinese Laundry, mostly love though.

Now, clubs are generally difficult to review because the crowd comes into it a lot.
We all know different kinds of clubs attract different kinds of people. I've never had a terrible time at Laundry, but the crowd is generally younger which isn't always fun if you're in your 20's but you can't really blame them either because Laundry IS a lot of fun and young people like fun. A very young crowd. It feels as though the walls are sweating. I had the feeling that I was very dirty when I left the venue and probably wouldn't head back there

Great little club... If your 18. If not, it's best you head somewhere a little more relaxed.
