I use to enjoy going here, but since they've changed over the management and given the place a make over with an oriental theme, it's not the same anymore. They've gone a lot more strict, I couldn't even wear a beanie in and was asked to take it off, this was on a Wednesday when they weren't even they packed. What I do like about them is they offer a variety of jugs available, including their own house beer. The food is cheap and surprisingly tasty. They have a number of pizzas but I personally really enjoyed the wings. I also like the massive balcony they have that overlooks the state library.
I've been here a few times for Friday drinks. It's in a nice centralised location with a massive balcony. They have good happy hour here and the crowd is mixed. You don't have to be dressed in a collar shirt to get in which is really good. Try to come early to get a seat out on the balcony as it does get packed here fairly quickly. There's heaps of tables inside and the bar is huge so the wait for drinks isn't too long. I haven't eaten much here except for the fries which are REALLY good. Whether you're visiting Melbourne or a local, this place is great place to start off your night and it get's pretty good, you might not even leave.
