Chocolateria San Churro

Always up for churros for dessert but I found it hard to figure out the seating and layout on a busier weekend night. I think if they made it more clearer it would help with flow since it's just one entrance including specifying where takeaway orders are to be placed.

Perhaps we went on a busy night (to be fair it had just reopened after being closed for storm damage) but I found the customer service poor. We counted about 8 members of visible staff but only one girl seemed to be acknowledging customers waiting and at the till. The churros themselves were fine and the salted caramel dip was definitely a winner but the customer service definitely dulled the experience.

I have the ultimate sweet tooth so this place is basically my heaven. They have desserts galore and there is always something different to try. I can't pick a favourite! I would also highly recommend trying some of their hot chocolates that are thick and warm and come in many different flavours. Perfect for a winter's date night!

Surprisingly good coffee which is often a rareity at a "specialist" type place as this. Churros are delicious for a late night treat after a movie. Cosy setting and reasonably priced. Plus lots of cute chocolate gifts in you are feeling generous ;)

This is one of the few times where the place itself is just as good as the concept they were going for. All of the dishes are as beautiful and creative as they are tasty. This place is the definition of "treat yoself". Also, free churro on your birthday!
