Chow Garden Chinese Restaurant B.Y.O & Take Away

Sweet and sour batter was super soggy and the tang of the sauce weird
The beef black bean was great very tender meat
But all in all average

This place sounds as if it has been in Epping forever, and I must say that I am not surprised they make some pretty good dishes. Though you can eat in like many Chinese Restaurants you can also take away (though I'm not so sure about delivery). I've walked past this place a few times and I have to saw I had put this place to the top of my list of places to check out in Epping, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The meals, or at least the meal I had (Mongolian beef and fried rice) was what I expected, and the price wasn't all that bad either. I'm certainly going to come back, especially since it does satisfy my need for Chinese food (as well as eating with chop-sticks). Oh, I should mention that they only open at lunch time and in the evening, so if you are looking for a bite in the afternoon you may have to wait a bit.

Large menu to choose from,and nice restaurant to sit and eat for lunch when travelling.
Would give 5 star but pricing slightly high

One of my favourite haunts in this area of town! Those htat know it love it. Of course, the outside might be a bit offputting but that's okay -- more for the rest of us, as they say! Really big fan, would recommend greatly to someone looking to satisfy their cravings for Chinese food.

Best Chinese food in Epping. Large serving sizes, always fresh and not so oily. Really is the best Chinese in Epping!
