purchased a solar hot water system thru an internet provider who sourced supply from Chromagen. I ordered a closed loop system suitable for frost conditions. When unit was being installed, plumbers noticed it was an open loop system. Install unit anyway and the right system was being send up by courier. New unit arrived and I helped driver unpack pallet. SOlar panel was damged and must have been damaged prior to shipment.
drain and remove old unit install new unit. Then the thermostat burnt out. As system was installed in roof where the electric unit had been placed and the thermostat slides in from the top - there was not enough room to take out the old thermostat and install the new one.
