This cafe is right up there for a collection of memorabilia, quite amazing, worth a visit for a look. We had a couple of burgers that tasted very good, along with a coffee. The service was good, we were greeted on arrival, and did not have a long delay for lunch. Must admit spent quite some time looking at the packed in to the rafters memorabilia. Good call will return with friends.
I haven’t been here in quite a while but a friend wanted to catch up here as she wanted to try Chuckwagons “Fried Icecream” – I was soooo keen for that myself after she mentioned it! So we came here last week and after stuffing our faces with burgers and sweet potato fries and nachos to share, we ordered also a fried icecream to share. We were stuffed by the end of it but that was a yummy tasting fried icecream! As for the burger though – it wasn’t as nice as what I remembered it to be. I mean, it was nice but the patty wasn’t as juicy as I recalled it, the sweet potato fries were delish but the pepperoni nachos were we found were too plain, not enough sauce topping for the nacho chips. Despite that though, we still enjoyed our meals and catchup here at Chuckwagon.
I must say, this is my new favorite eatery! I just want to try everything on the menu or at least the dessert menu and I reckon I will! Latest Ive tried was the Mac & Cheese Nachos with the usual side of Sweet Potato Fries and a Burger. For dessert I ordered the Nutella Burger OMG! Yum! The Nutella Burger has a soft and beautifully made brioche bun and the patty was cocopops (or something like it) and nutella. It was very messy to eat but it was delicious! The Mac Cheese Nachos were certainly different, yummy but very filling alongside the fries and burger. My friend and I shared the dishes but we were both so full we had to take the burger home!
As I hadn't been to Chuck Wagon in a while, I decided to come with a friend who had never been before to have a sweet treat because I heard their dessert menu was pretty tempting! We came in on a Friday night and it sure was busy! Every time a burger order was brought out we we're salivating but were way too full already from dinner to down one - all we had room for was dessert... and sweet potato fries! We noticed a certain chocolate drink was constantly coming out from the bar and asked what it was - snickers and nutella milkshake! OMG! 2 of them please! *Drools* It was delicious! Definitely have to come back to try their other milkshakes and desserts!
