Churchills Sports Bar

This place really isn’t my scene, but then again I tend not to be a huge fan of sports bars. Actually, this place has the feel of being a real, traditional American sports bar, and I should mention that the Americana here actually was pretty good. I should say that they also had some nice beers available as well, but still, it really wasn’t one of those places that I particularly liked all that much.

This place used to be pretty dodgy but Churchies has spruced up a bit over the years. It is your pretty standard pub with decent food, a lot of seating areas inside and out, pokies and tvs playing sport everywhere. Trivia at churchies on a thursday night is always a good laugh and a crowd favourite.

Pretty simple place really. Plenty of TVs for watching live sport and lots of room to watch - is often very quiet and rarely overcrowded. Not alot else to get you excited if you're not there to watch sport, place a bet or play the pokies.

Nomad's Thoughts: BEst suited for watching a late night game of international sport. If your not there for that, then there are better and more exciting options for a night out.

Heaps of TVs and very rarely gets overcrowded. Food is a little hit and miss if you are there for a main meal, but drinks are well priced and the wedges are great.

Classic sports bar, with
