Had the pleasure to dine at Circa for a friends birthday. Fine dining is not my usual way to have dinner but in special occasion i guess thats the exception to pay a bit more for very little. First time at Circa, service is as expected to be as good as the name of the restaurant and staff did live up to it. However i couldn't really say that the food was a wow for me. For the price of a few dishes that we ordered and the portion of it displayed on a massive plate didnt make me really enjoy it. Food was average, some were delicious but some couldn't justify the price and the tiny portion. Overall experience was good but not sure I'll be back unless i am invited for a birthday or event.
I had the most wonderful cocktail here! the atmosphere is elegant and service is great. The food is imaginative and beautifully-presented but portions are very small and prices very high. I enjoyed my fish dish and would consider the chef's selection if it were not so expensive. Not much choice for vegetarians.
I attended a function here and was mesmerised by the beauty of the interiors of this venue. The openess and the modern furnishings were beautiful and made me want to just stay and relax. The food served to us was delicious, a favourite were the Prawn tacos and the mint mocktails was refreshingly sweet. The staff were helpful and attentive and the function went smoothly. Would love to come here again to try their normal menu.
Circa, The Prince is known, relished and revered for its high-end dining, but a little known secret is the bar for it's amazing wine list, Heinekin on tap, and a divinely, romantic, sophisticated atmosphere to match. If you're craving a more boutique location for a pre-dinner aperitif or post-dining, 'elongate that date' type of local, there is nothing quite like Circa, The Prince bar. Recently refurbished, this one has become a favourite for me and my friends to chat the night away. If warm enough we love the balcony, beautifully set-dressed with white, wicker recliners, and table service from the gorgoeus staff, ordering from the lengthy and sophisticated wine list. And if are hungry, do try the Circa burger with special fries on the bar menu, or crispy shrimp dumpling, green tea salt - (OMG yum). Two other things that got my thumbs up with this place: 1. I lost my way in the dimly lit hallways trying to find the loos, and ended up in the kitchen, and the head chef himself, ...read more
