I was shopping in rockingham "City Beach" store when my daughter came up to me upset saying she had been accused of shoplifting and I needed to come. One of the ladies was very rude to my daughter and understandably so "If" she had actually stolen from the store. But she had not....
It was in actual fact the stores fault,
It turned out that she had a stood on a sticker from the clothing that sets the alarm off and it was stuck to the soul of her shoe...
I understand it was a misunderstanding but a simple apology would have been appreciated as my daughter was humiliated and very emotional after we left the store.
But we received no apology.
I think the store workers need to be more careful with leaving these objects on the floor ,as I went in there a week later and saw 3 on the floor.I wouldn't want this humiliation to happen to another innocent person to be accused of stealing.
