Do your wallet a favour avoid this business like the plague, $33.00 for a small clip/bracket for a side window on a Charade and an Ashtray that i bought to tidy up the car, i should have bailed at that $$ but i had already wasted over 10 minutes waiting for the guy to find the window part. Overpriced and unjust. Booo
Bad customer service, no call backs 4 times this year when promised , just today you missed out on 500+ dollars due to your incompetence
DO NOT use city dismantlers, they are only interested in getting their hands on your hard earned money, after that they are rude, they fit defective and un usable parts, then charge you to have them repaired, bought a second hand engine from them, they installed it, after 2 weeks of driving the engine developed a knock, and city dismantlers will only fix it if you pay labour, even though the part was unfit for the purpose in which it was sold,
never deal with unscrupulous repairers
They have pathetic customer service and prices. Over the past 6 years I have visited them 3 times out of necessity, and without fail they have been rude, short tempered, and horrible to deal with. Recently, I purchased a bumper from them for a friends car which they said would fit, and it didn't. They charged me $330 where for the same thing (provided U-Pull-it have in stock) you can get it for $69 at UPullit. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. U-Pull-it is excellent in comparison, price, customer service, everything (and btw I have no connection with them whatsoever).
Hear! Hear! I agree they are rude - especially the management!!! - arrogant and short tempered!!!
I will never go here again and urge people to stay away. "Reconditioned" engine which leaked litres of oil. Every time we brought it back in, they "fixed" it (under warranty) except that it never got fixed. This went on for a year, then it was out of warranty and they told us to get F***ed. It was totally devastating, we don't have a lot of money. The car no longer runs.AVOID!!
