City Farmers

I've had an established fish tank for 2 years now and complete water tests on a regular basis. I purchased 1 red tail shark to go with the rest of my semi aggressive fish. This was the first time is added fish in 6months. Within 3 weeks all of my fish had developed fungus. I went back to city farmers and saw the tank I got the fish from quarantined. One of the staff told me they were having problems with fungus I told him I was too thanks to them. I brought them back a water sample as requested and the staff I was speaking to suddenly disappeared and the management appeared. They treated me as if I knew nothing about fish and said all the problems I was having was my own fault from the water test. I took my water to other pet supplies and they said my water was perfect, and FINALLY sold me a product that helped save my fish rather than blame. I will never shop at city farmers anywhere ever again. A terrible customer service culture!!!

Couldn't stop a conversation between the staff to be served. Once I finally got someone's attention I realised the flea treatment I was about to buy was significantly cheaper at the other store. From now on that's the only pet store ill shop in. They even remember my dogs name.

Superb for anything fish related - they really know their stuff and are super helpful. Great prices on everything else for our dogs and chooks plus I grab bits for the pool and garden.

Good place, can sometimes pick up a pretty good bargain!
