City Hotel

My work friends and I have ventured to City Hotel a couple of times for lunch and have been quite impressed with the food and service. If booking for a farewell or a large group it may help to book but they don't seem to get overly busy so not essential. The menu is not huge but offers all your favourite hotel delights such as hamburgers and chips, Parmesan and herb schnitzel, steaks, pastas and a variety of sides and salads. The drinks are a little pricey, but not out of character for City venues, so best to go down on a Thursday night when they have 2 for 1 cocktails. The ordering is all done at the bar so it helps for those lunches where you don't want to worry about trying to split the bill as its all paid upfront. Great location within the CBD precinct it is definitely one for the list for a reasonably priced and great tasting lunch

Looks can be deceiving! From the outside this looks like a normal Sydney pub but go inside and it's a plush bar with leather sofas, chandeliers, candlelight and great food!

Was very impressed and will def be going back.
