Conveniently located library with large selection of books, free to use computers and wifi, and a stylish cafe at the front. It's a nice place to pop in and look stuff up even if you aren't planning on taking out a book. Staff here is friendly and helpful and I think it's great to have these resources right in the city!
Not the coziest library, actually, although I've been there while someone played the piano upstairs (reserved for "professionals") and that improved the atmosphere. What's great if that you can order materials from other Melbourne libraries and pick them up here, it's just not where I would choose to spend an afternoon reading.
A fresh, modern library. I love how you can return your items at any of the affiliated libraries. I've ordered lots of items form this library and they've always been ready for my collection quickly. The self-checkout kiosks are easy to use and work. Conveniently located on Flinders Lane, and a great cafe at the entrance.
