City Museum At Old Treasury Melbourne

This building is a very iconic place in Melbourne that has been preserved very beautifully and I would recommend anyone to go and visit it, or at least in you pass by go to the door and have a quick glance to the interior. I really enjoyed the decoration, pictures, furniture and period lamps in the high ceilings. The old treasury building is also the marriage registry, so if you want to get married in a nice and classy place this may be a very good option. You won't probably be able to fit many people inside, but outside there is plenty of room for everyone to wait, and also it is a nice place to take some vintage photos. The easiest way to get there would be by train and stop at parliament station or by free tram doing the city circle.

We held a private function in this beautiful old building which houses a very important part of Melbournes history. the catering was adequate and typical of the sort of function we were attending, but the surroundings were magnififcent. Highly recommend a visit.
