I've lived in the TTG Council most of my life, and love the feel of it. Civic Park is a highlight, well kept and stacks of council-run events throughout the year like moonlingth cinema and a fantastic carols event. Lots of local parks as well, and recently they sold some off so they could redevelop others which I think was a great move.
Rubbish & Hard waste collection is reliable, the library is well looked after, and a recent request of mine for trimming of local trees was very quickly dealt with.
Rates are not on the lower end of the scale hence the half a star off.
