So this dealership is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Forget that Subaru charge like wounded bulls for any service or parts compared to other brands. We should feel proud to own a Subaru. Went for 5 year service on my Forrester. 55k on the clock only. My aircon compressor was rattling. It needed to be replaced. Total service nearly $4000. Gulp.
3 weeks later aircon dies and won’t cool. Called dealership and despite multiple calls can’t get through. Left messages and so on. After 4 hours called reception who said oh the service department don’t listen to messages until the end of the day. She put an email through to them as the only way to get their attention.. half an hour later I get a call. Oh we can’t do anything about your problem for another week or so. We will investigate and work out what else we need to charge you ...read more
After the worst service in history and no follow up I recieved a text message for their VIP day which I opted out. They then rang me on at 7:15pm on a Friday night asking me to come to their VIP day. I explained what happened on my last service which confirmed they are more interested in sales than after sales service. I will never buy a suburbu again and had better service at Mercedes Benz when I bought a Gla180.
Had my Subaru Tribeca serviced. Left my rear seats in the forward position floor mats in the cargo area and the plastic cover on the guide rails of the seat which they left on the rear seat which someone sat on. The ultimate was the transmission dipstick was left on the sill below the windscreen wipers which I found by chance as I filled up with petrol at 7pm, 3 and half hours after I picked it up. Had to go over the car to ensure everything else was in order. Very ordinary.
Have used City Subaru for servicing of my Subaru Impreza for the last 7 years. Was really quite happy with them until recently. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the service docket identified that the spark plugs had been changed. The Customer Service Officer explained that they hadn't because I had expensive spark plugs in place which would last 100,000km. As I am familiar with any changes I have made to the vehicle over the years, I explained that if this was done previously, it was without my approval. I asked the Customer Service Officer to look through my files to see if they were the expensive spark plugs as they had identified, which seemed to be an inconvenience for them at the time. After looking through my files, they advised that the spark plugs were for 50,000km, which were different to the standard spark plugs installed in the impreza. This had never been discussed or approved by me previously (but apparently I was charged more for them). In ...read more
