Cityfit Fitness Club

This is my preferred gym in Bathurst. Firstly, it looks a lot larger from the outside. There is an indoor pool which you must pass to get to the change rooms. This is unpleasant, the air is humid and chlorine-ey and whilst the change rooms appear to be air conditioned a lot of the im-in-the-same-room-as-an-indoor-pool-room unpleasantness seeps in.The reception area is quite nice, there are a few table and chairs and you can buy drinks. The front desk attendant is always friendly and helpful. The group exercise studio is below the exercise machines, so when you use the machines you sort of look down over the classes. This has two main impacts - (1) the group exercise classes can never have their music that loud and (2) the people on the machines are always disturbed when classes are on. That being said, it is quite and innovative use of the space and as a result the space feels quite open. The timetable is reasonable and there are a range of Les Mills classes on offer.
