We had a great time staying in 'the gums' for 1 week in July and liked being set into the bushland. We liked our stay there but (thought for tariff) had conversations over having an outdoor jacuzzi on the deck or a Coonara heater/fireplace in the lounge for that bit of indulgence it seemed to lack. The chairs in the lounge weren't comfy for a couple to sit and snuggle but were adequate if you were staying in for a night to watch a movie or spend a rainy day. We also had the split/system heater on near on the whole time because the louvred windows and large expanses of glass tended to take the heat out of the room. The quantity and quality of produce left to fill our fridge was generous and much appreciated as were the other smaller details to make our stay more comfortable.
