I visit Mt Tambourine regularly and eat and drink at Clancy's each time. The service is very local and friendly and always a great crowd. The food is excellent and way above what I wouild consider normal pub fare. Standout for me was the steak sandwich - not sure if its still on the menu - best I've ever had. Great place.
I have been here over a dozen time for dinner, and taken may Friends and Family here also. The food is great the service friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. So much so I can highly recommend this as somewhere to go for a great meal. It can get a little busy on weekend, so booking would be advised if you want a seat inside. I can only say that the other reviewer must have had a 1 in 100 bad experience as for me this has always been a great experience (I can highly recommend the spare ribs).

Interesting that you've only reviewed two restaurants, given them both a half a star (hard to imagine how a place could truly be that abominable and still get 4.5 stars from others) and you intend never to return to either.
That instance when I went there was also over a year ago. We were left waiting for an hour with no 'sorry we are taking so long' or anything. They had forgotten three of our orders and there was 9 people there. I was the only one disgusted enough to complain about it.
