Terrible service. Maybe the food is ok but we didn't enjoy it after having an appalling experience here a while ago. We purchased lunch for 7 people, including a variety of cakes and slices. Because we planned to share the assortment of cakes we asked the staff if they could cut the slices. They refused and after asking nicely a number of ways we proceeded to have a bizarre argument. They claimed they couldn't because of health reasons and possible contamination via an unclean knife. A suggestion to clean the knife was refused. An offer to cut the cakes ourselves and accept the risk was refused. No amount of cajoling would move them. And they were just plane rude. Never will we go back. Unless new owners appear who understand customer service.
One of the best bakeries in the state. The staff are friendly and the store is always full of delicious treats to eat. Everytime you visit there is someting new and yummy to try. The range of pies and buns make it hard to decide what to buy. They do a great range of breads and their chocolate donuts are the best ever!!
