Clayfield Licensed Post Office

Regardless of all the negative reviews the Clayfield Post office has received, I am very happy to share my excellent experience this morning. I went to collect a parcel just after 7 am expecting rudeness, inefficiency and having to leave empty handed. What a wonderful surprise I had. I found the Early Pick up window easily amongst the post boxes and was greeted by the post lady with a dazzling smile just moments after ringing the bell. The service was thorough, efficient and most of all, cheerful. A perfect way to start the day. Congratulations Clayfield Post Office!

I wish I could give no stars, Clayfield post office gave my parcel to another person. They told me that I picked it up or someone with my same surname or a person that works at the same address. I have now lost my goods and two investigations have been processed. They told the investigators that they gave the parcels to us, so therefore the case was closed. I am a few hundred out of pocket. Absolutely hopeless!!!

Collecting held mail before 9am is an unpleasant, inefficient experience at Clayfield Post Office. As per their process I call in advance to arrange a time to collect the item, arrive on time, only to be greeted with 'have you made arrangements'.... no such thing as 'Hello' or 'Good Morning'.

I have often witnessed the early staff openly complain to customers that they have no space, there are too many parcels here, they can't keep track of every item....

To the management of Clayfield LPO: The Postal business has transformed over the years, yet your branch openly complain to customers how it's not your fault you haven't adapted your business to keep up? You are playing the victim attitude and it's a shame you have no competition.

I have experienced poor service and advice from this store on numerous occasions. Most recently mail was stolen from my letter box and the staff at Clayfield Post advised me that I had to go to the Albion Post Distribution depot to report this. The Albion Post depot were very annoyed at the staff at Clayfield Post Office who they said could have taken the report then and there. I live locally and have dealt with the same staff at Clayfield post Office for the past 6 years who I have always experienced to be unhelpful and discourteous. i avoid Clayfield Post Office whenever possible

Customer service at this post office is terrible in my opinion. One postal officer greets you with attitude and no smile or courtesy - you feel like you are annoying them just by walking in.
