Cleburne is a fascinating and luxurious art hotel located at Hobart, Tasmania. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in heritage-listed sandstone farm buildings. The art hotel is furnished with contemporary Tasmanian and Australian artworks, blending new and old, Cleburne Homestead is one of the earliest original heritage accommodation properties in Tasmania.
Each of our five suites are unique. Our 1830's two storey Cottage is self contained and sleeps up to five guests. It has a wood fired heater for cosy winter evenings. Our Homestead Suite has its own private book lined library. It sleeps four. Our Bakehouse Suite with its pure white stone walls has a free standing bath and sleeps three (or four with a trundle). The Barn Suite has raw stone walls and features a king size four poster bed. It is disability friendly and sleeps three. Our Stables Suite is our smallest. Entered off a private deck it has raw stone walls, the original horse feed troughs, a queen bed and small sitting area. All suites have ensuite bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities, microwave, sink,crockery/cutlery, TV/DVD, heaters and electric blankets.
Hearty continental breakfast, served in our grand dining room, is included in the nightly rate.

Cleburne is the perfect spot to stay when exploring beautiful Southern Tasmania. Our art hotel is a five minutes drive to MONA - the Museum of Old and New Art and fifteen minutes drive to Hobart's Constitution Dock and Salamanca Place.

Cleburne Homestead gladly accepts singles, couples and children. Pets by arrangement.
