Clements Cars & 4WD's

We were looking for a particular make and model, and we found one at Clements. What I found particularly pleasant was that the fellow was so personable. Had a very nice chat, where it became apparent that he is a mechanic, from a family of engineers and trades people. Not primarily a sales person. Well - that possibly explained the contrast from the other dealer that we had looked at the same make/model of car, who had waffled and distracted us from some issues. In contrast, at Clements, the communication was very good, they arranged our RACQ inspection which came up with no problems at all, the car had been serviced, and we have been very happy with it. I am bothering to post a review because it was nice to deal with people that came accross as very genuine and who we could relate to.

Do not deal with these guys. Bought a Holden Barina 2009 (120,000 km's) with small amount of hail damage for $5,500.00 from these guys. The air conditioning stopped working, check engine light came on, started cutting out mid drive and also started getting stuck in over drive within days of owning the car. These guys kept stalling to run the warranty out and didn't fix any issues until I had to get a male involved. The air conditioning stopped working again and they started stalling straight away as the warranty was due to expire soon. So I ended up getting a diagnosis and quote to repair the issue ($1200) somewhere else to provide Clements Cars so they can fulfill their legal obligations to attend to any issues within 3 months of the purchase. The owner once again was rude and actually yelled at me and hung up because he was offended that I got a quote elsewhere. I just purchased a 2013 Hilux from Todd Cements.

No fuss no pressure just a genuine guy with good quality cars at a realistic price.
