Cleveland Vet advertises that they are caring....rather I would like to say uncaring. They seem to be more concerned with $$s. I know vets are expensive but the charges for an animal ultra sound is dearer than specialists ultra sounds at Greenslopes hospital, but without the Medicare rebates!
Recently my wife took our small dog a little Maltese to their practice after being diagnosed by another vet with liver Cushing's disease for a confirmation ultra sound....after a day stay in the clinic for $65 , blood tests for $239, Radiology for $180 and then we had to bring her back the following day for an other day stay for $65 because they didnt have someone to do the ultra sound the previous day as well ultrasound which cost $450 with a total cost of more than $ 950, even though the blood work showed Cushing they still wanted to do more expensive tests...But refused to give her any medication unless we did further tests.
