A group of friends and I had a lovely catch up here not long ago and it was great. Delicious food, good service and vibrant atmosphere. It was a mid week night, busy but not too crazy busy and the staff were attentive. Also we didn't get rushed out this time and was able to have dessert - one word... Souffle. Best ever! Definitely will be back for that!
This place says cool as soon as you walk in, the atmosphere and the staff are awesome. The highlight for me though was the lobster crepe! I was blown away! I though if my main is as good as this we've found me a new favourite, but my eye fillet main was an anticlimax compared to that entree. It was cooked perfectly and had all the usual ingredients to make it a winning dish but it just wasn't anything special. The desserts were OK but again nothing special. Great night though, great place to catchup for food and drinks with your friends.
Unique and fairly new to the Adelaide Scene, Cliche Exhibition is a French Restaurant / Art Gallery / Bar.Have been told a couple times from different people that I must give this place a try and finally I did on the weekend just been and oh the food was delish! They have two dinner sittings - 6 to 8pm then 8pm pretty much onwards. Main dining area is as soon as you walk in and the bar area is located upstairs, where you can also dine as well but there's not as much tables. They even have a little outdoor patio area located on the second floor by the bar. The art work and paintings are randomly unique and if you couldn't tell quite french. I do definitely want to come back and give the place another go for the 8pm sitting, as our table felt kind of rushed with the 6-8pm sitting.
