Disappointed after all the hype my first visit to cliffex meats to be told at 10am we don't have any lamb chops till tomorrow. Only bbq chops. Not a real butcher shop. Went to gregs meats got what I wanted ,and spent $140. They'll get my buisiness from now on. Big sign on Cliffex counter spring lamb is here ??? Apparently not in good old chops form , your joking.
I've been buying my meat from Cliffex for the past 2 years. its so good, I drive down from Melbourne to buy it. Good quality at reasonable prices and friendly staff. I have never had a bad piece of meat from Cliffex, Beef, Pork, Lamb or Chicken. Its so good, I have recommended it to many of my friends who now also buy from Cliffex.
Moved to Rosebud 3mths ago. Good prices on cheap cuts of meat through winter. Disaster struck when we bought two pieces of Porterhouse steak yesterday. Totally inedible. So bad we threw it in the fire. Even the cat wouldn't eat it!!! Went in to today to let them know & the staff we spoke to said " it probably wasn't hung long enough...bit too fresh"!!! Helllooo!!! Is that what we are supposed to do? Told them they had lost us as customers & they just shrugged! No recompense for wasted money & no dinner!!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!
